This man had no right calling himself a "Doctor". His negligence, lack of effort and inability to listen to what I had to say left me suffering intense severe daily pain for 20+ years. He blindly refused to listen to what I had to say about my symptoms and misdiagnosed me with IBS twice, and as if that was not enough, he also failed to sedate me, nor provide any form of pain control during the two colonoscopy procedures he himself provided to me. For the next 20 years I suffered daily, horrendous pain from severe bowel spasms, severe bloating, severe cramping, loose watery acidic diarrhea regularly in excess of 20 bowel movements a day, and nearly constant never ending tenesmus and nearly non stop severe rawness, irritation and burning of the colonz rectum and anus from severe uncontrolled type 2 bile acid malabsorption, and those are only the physical pains I had, I also suffered from constant anxiety and fear from having to eat, as I knew what was coming next, after every single meal. Nearly every single second of this constant hell I lived in could of been stopped in its tracks with one simple insoluble polymer powder medication called cholestyramine resin, a simple bile acid sequestrant that is drank before a meal. Cholestyramine resin was developed at Merck in the late 1950s, has been around for decades and is simple and cheap to produce, yet in 2006 "Doctor" Sekar, a "trained" Gastroenterologist was incapable of listening to what I had to say and prescribing it. This man had no right to call himself a "Doctor". If he was still around I would not let him "practice" on my dog. The medical world is far better off with this man no longer practicing with his blind negligence ruining people's lifes. I wish I could go see him now to let him know how badly he ruined 20 years of my life due to his utter and complete incompetence from his big ego and pride.
