I cant recommend Dr Sladden enough. He has made a complete difference in my wellness journey. I actually feel cared for. What a difference.
It is unfortunate that funding is not available to assist with specialist. Eg. Secretary or office assistant of any sort not only do they tend to patients but then spends many evenings doing paper work . How long do we expect our specialist to be able to maintain this level of stress?, before the burnout rate becomes so high that we lose them. At least allow the same resources that a GP gets in order to keep them . If we dont help them we will lose them. They are over worked and under helped. Yet they still make time to volunteer to help those out that cant afford it. Talk to your specialist, talk to your MLA. Educate yourself. The expectations placed on them are not achievable for long with out help. They do everything they can to help us lets help return the favor..
