If you are fortunate enough to be accepted as a patient in Dr. Riaz's surgical practice, you are in the gifted hands of a truly Generational healer. Although I live hours away from Medicine Hat, here in Drumheller, I encounter past, present and future patients of his almost weekly. And the only people with any negative impressions of him are universally (in my experience) patients to whom he has had to give bad news. But they also universally begrudgingly admit that he was right. In my personal instance, I had endured crushing 24/7 arthritic hip joint pain (and a horrible limp) for half a decade--and Dr. Riaz's treatment eliminated it completely. I have no pain, take no pills, have a new lease on life and absolutely perfect end-result limb geometry. Yes, there were a couple of weeks of post-surgical pain involved, but I advise future patients to request the prescription-strength Tylenol option rather than the [identical-to-placebo] Tramadol often prescribed. And a second piece of advice: follow Dr. Riaz's post-operative instructions to the LETTER. Use the walker and cane for the full durations specified. Do not drive driving the specified period. And do the prescribed exercises, and attend physiotherapy as directed. Incidentally, at my follow-up post-surgical appointment, Dr. Riaz was somewhat embarrassed by my outpouring of gratitude for the new lease on life he's given me. But that's in his nature--he simply makes people's lives immeasureably better half a dozen times a day, every day. Dr. Riaz is a gifted healer, and if you receive his care you are very fortunate indeed. Thank you Dr. Riaz.
